Did you know there are 3 roads to enlightenment; the first is by Suffering, the second is by Acceptance, and the third is by Purpose? Which path/road have you chosen and which one would you rather choose? With Suffering we learn to be empathetic to others, we do this through a long transition of feeling the pain of life. Acceptance, well that speaks for itself, you accept that life is like it is and there is a reason for everything and you can not do anything to change anything, so you just keep doing what ever the universe brings to you. With Purpose, there is a completely different energy, I live my life with Purpose, what do I mean by that? Well, everything that has ever happened I use to give me strength to help others, I use my experience, I see how if I had not been through what I have I could not do what I do, and I believe each person can make a difference. Even a good accountant makes a difference if he lives his life with passion and purpose.
A purpose filled life is driven by passion of belief and the desire to achieve. So if you could imagine the slate of your life were wiped clean, what would you choose for your life? But the reality is that we can’t do that, we are the sum total of our experience and what we are very much influenced by what we believe and have taken on in consciousness. Imagine we have twin boys, they are 37 and one twin is a success and the other twin a failure? What characteristic defines who and what they have become? The answer comes down to simple basic interpretation of circumstances. One twin sees everything as an opportunity and the other sees everything as bad, hard, confusing. So how do you view your world? Do you see the challenges life hands you as a “Golden Opportunity,” or do you see the challenges as, “Big stop signs, no go areas, and Give up or you get hurt?” How do you interpret the events in your life on a day to day basis?
In life the one thing we should be taught from birth is that we can CHOOSE the way we think about life.
In life the one thing we should be taught from birth is that we can CHOOSE the way we think about life.
Twin one: From day one he soaked up every word, every doubt, every belief of everyone around him, he looked up to his relatives and teachers and believed they have it right and then before he knew it, when something went wrong, that voice in his head began it’s script about, “how life is hard, and how he is so insignificant, and he cant do anything, so why did he try?” He hangs his head and wonders why life don’t work, little knowing that its as though he has been programmed by some giant faulty computer program, that keeps him feeling inadequate and worthless.
While the successful twin: He thinks in terms of, “Yes I can,” and if things go wrong, he just says, “Cool man, I wonder what I can do next, I sure learned from that, so I can take that learning with me into the next adventure,” “Wow, that was an experience, I will listen to what I know next time, and believe in myself even more. Because only I know what is best for me.” Twin two is empowered by life no matter what happens.
So how do you see yourself, as twin one or two, you know you can change how you are, and that change can start right now, it can start by you beginning to question why you repsond and react the way you do to things that are happening in you life. The first step to changing your circumstances is that simple, the moment you question why did someones words hurt you so bad, why did you feel so hurt by loosing that job, or why were you in a relationship which didnt respect you as a beautiful soul, then the universe begins the "Act of Change." this is the space where little insights begin flowing your way, and your quest begins. Little by little you will become aware, you will stop projecting your perception of negative upon others, and start to "choose to think in ways that empower your life, and your decisions."
For that is the natural way by which every soul in this world evolves.
