"When your down and troubled and you need a helping hand, and nothing, nothing is going right, just close your eyes and think of me and soon I will be there to brighten up even your darkest night."  The radio blares out the words and she sits mindlessly singing along, not even listening really, just singing to herself.

Life had not turned out the way she dreamt; every day was just more hard slog, more stress and more unhappiness.  How she wished there had been someone to call out to and to ask for a helping hand, but in the dingy apartment there was only her and her cat.  The walls needed painting, the carpet was worn and everything old,  even at 29 she felt incredibly old, just sad and old and the thought crashed into her mind, " is this as good as it gets?"

When we are children our imaginations pave the way for incredible adventures, a child can be a famous Indian chief one minute and an explorer the next, anything is possible.   The year 2007 and is what I call a world where we want instant gratification and everyone wants to be someone, and if you don't look like a supermodel and aren't a millionaire by the time your 30 then its too late and you might just as well give up.

The pressure this sort of expectations places upon our lives is totally unrealistic to say the least.  On the other side of the coin, there are those who conform, they park their dreams on a boat to tomorrow and for today, do what they believe they have to do in order to survive, sometimes succeeding simply by being practical other times loosing their soul, prostituting themselves living a life doing a job they hate, in a city they despise, waiting for tomorrow to come so they can be happy.  

Within each and every person on this earth there is a plan, a code, a path, a destiny there are a unique set of skills and talents, just waiting for a fraction of a second for inspiration to crack open the vault of potential that sooths the soul, nurtures the heart and makes for a fulfilling life.  Problem is in 2007 we are so darn busy that mostly we don't get time to breathe let alone allow our creative talents to come to the fore and be nurtured into life time careers.

Where are you in your life right now?  On a scale of 1 - 10 are you fulfilled with your life?   Maybe you are, maybe you are one of the lucky ones who have no regrets and are living the dream job, with the perfect family.  If you are I would like to hear your story.

Mostly people who contact me resonate to my work and articles simply because they are searching, they are looking for the code, the script, the way to begin living life and still provide financially, physically and emotionally for their own well being. 

This is where I come in:  If you are feeling lost its simply because you have taken on things, habits and perceptions that are not 100% to you and your soul. Don't panic, its natural, we often take up parcels of energy from our parents, teachers, relatives, there are many different influences that can change our paths in life, and the change happens because at some time we changed ourselves to be what we thought other people wanted us to be, we conformed.  Conforming is about being average, and can I ask you have you ever met an average millionaire?  Not likely not unless they inherited it, and even then they are often anything but conformists.   Society does not encourage us to get honest with ourselves, to discover our likes and dislikes, to discover our talents and dreams.  Society would have us believe that to be successful you must conform, and yet the most bizarre truth is the most fulfilled people I know all don't conform.   The live life with passion and only study, explore, involve, and live life being involved in things that stir their soul, that drive them passionately into facing fears, and overcoming incredible odds.

To find life fulfilment the one main ingredient is courage - do you have it?  If now how can you develop that quality in your life?  Well you can start by being self honest in a way that honours and nurtures your life, that's an easy place to begin.  One day at a time, just tiny steps into respecting and honouring your true spirit, never being afraid of rejection, knowing and trusting that your spirits intuition will lead you to find the answers and in doing so take you on the most magical journey of all - the journey of self discovery - believe me its worth the effort.
